Direct verkocht aan het werk van Catherine. Ik was op zoek naar een kunstwerk met kleur. Groen en oranje zijn mijn kleuren en dit schilderij viel direct op. Dit past perfect in mijn kantoor. We volgen haar werken verder op en zien dat ze nu nog werken met oranje maakt dus een volgende aankoop zit zeker in ons gedachten ;-).
I have been following Catherine on Instagram for several months and I like her work a lot. I wanted new paintings for our living space. With only 2 photos of our empty walls, Catherine made me some suggestions. Her choices were perfect. "Moonlit silence" and "There's a place I go" are now hanging in our living space.

Our two-part painting "Meet me halfway" brings light and mutual understanding in our dining room where we meet family and friends. Light dark clouds are pushed away by eyecatching light white colors. The painting is the expression of a positive way of living : you always meet each other halfway!

Er waren al verschillende werken van Catherine die me aanspraken, maar toen ik hoorde dat het ook mogelijk was om een kunstwerk op maat te laten maken, ben ik daar voluit voor gegaan. Het resultaat is super mooi, past perfect in ons interieur en elke keer als ik het zie, word ik er blij van. Intussen hangen er al 2 Vanhullebuschen in ons huis :). Vrienden en familie die over de vloer komen merken ze altijd enthousiast op en ik kan met veel trots het verhaal vertellen. De ambacht, de kleuren, het maatwerk, hoe het blendt in ons interieur,... de max!

What I like most about the work I bought, are the vibrant colors. The deep blue together with the green-blue on the white background, give the work a natural appearance. The composition and upward movement in the painting create a dynamic vibe. When you get closer, you notice the uneven texture of the paint. The combination of colors, texture and composition, give the work a lively and at the same time soothing appearance, giving you new impressions again and again.
Catherine heeft een stijl die ik heel mooi vind. Het kunstwerk dat we kochten is neutraal genoeg om naadloos in ons interieur te passen en tegelijkertijd krachtig en met een goeie dosis pit.
We are mainly fans of the 'flashy' colours and therefore did not hesitate to purchase 1 of her first works in bright red. It is the first thing you see when entering our house and it's a real eye-catcher!
